25 Research things have asked us me to fill out the following questions. Answers to follow shortly

Create a post in your blog about this exercise. Don’t know what to blog about? Think about these questions:

  • What do you like about RSS and newsreaders?
  • How do you think you might be able to use this technology in your work or personal life?
  • Which method of finding feeds did you find easiest to use?
  • Which Search tool was the easiest for you?
  • Which was more confusing?
  • What kind of useful feeds did you find in your travels?
  • Or what kind of unusual ones did you find?
  • What other tools or ways did you find to locate newsfeeds?

Google Account

Having trouble setting up the RSS feeds etc as I cannot remember my google account details. I know I have an account but what in the blue h&%* is it? I presume it should be stored on my home PC when i login. Will try this when I get home from the graveyard shift

My first week

As per 25 research things request i have been asked to blog about my first week.

Well, currently i am working a night shift, started at 19:30 in the evening and finish at 07:30 the following morning. Thank god I am on annual leave on Thursday as this means i have 6 days or so free to knuckle down on my research work. My past week has mostly comprised of stacks of journal reading and socialising with friends over the weekend. Currently looking at tying up a few ends in regards to completing the 25 research things online course as well as filling out various financial forms and finally preparing a poster for a research onference which I will be attending. More information to follow…..
